At Avanti Italy, we specialise in designing personalised, boutique travel experiences throughout Italy. Unlike traditional travel agents who sell the world, Avanti Italy specialises exclusively in one destination — Italy. That means we don’t just know where to go — we know how to go, when to go, and who to go with. Our recommendations aren’t influenced by supplier incentives or pre-set packages. They’re shaped by deep local knowledge, personal experience, and long-standing relationships on the ground.
We work only with trusted Italian partners, boutique accommodations, local guides, artisan producers, and private hosts — people we know and trust to deliver something truly special. Every itinerary is built from scratch, thoughtfully tailored to reflect your interests, travel style and pace. This isn’t about selling holidays. It’s about designing an experience that feels like it was made just for you… because it is.
Due to the time, care, and expertise we dedicate to creating your personalised Italian journey, a small Travel Planning fee is charged upfront.

No, your first consultation is completely free, whether it’s via phone or email. This gives us a chance to get to know you, understand what you’re dreaming of, and explore how we can help bring it to life. No pressure, no obligation.

Absolutely. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start, that’s where we shine. Share your interests, travel style, and a few ideas (or none at all!) and we’ll design a custom itinerary that fits you perfectly, from destinations and accommodation to unique local experiences.

We offer your initial consultation free of charge, so we can understand your vision and explore possibilities together. If you choose to proceed with a personalised itinerary, a Travel Planning Fee of $250 (excluding GST) applies.
This fee allows us to dedicate the time, care, and local expertise required to design a seamless, tailored experience, crafted entirely around you, not pulled from a package.
If you go ahead and book your trip with us, this fee is fully credited toward the final cost of your itinerary. It’s our way of honouring your commitment, and ensuring you get the thoughtful, in-depth planning your Italian journey deserves.

At Avanti Italy, we believe that the journey begins long before you step on the plane. Here’s how we bring your dream trip to life, smoothly, collaboratively, and with care:
1. Initial Consultation
We start with a personal conversation to understand your travel style, interests, and vision for the trip. This is where we learn what matters most to you.2. Draft Itinerary (1–2 weeks)
Following our chat, we create a custom draft itinerary tailored specifically to you, complete with curated experiences, accommodation, and transfers (if required).3. Feedback and Review
You’ll have the opportunity to review the draft, ask questions, and suggest any changes. We’ll fine-tune the itinerary together to make sure it’s just right.4. Finalise Itinerary (1–2 weeks)
Once you’re completely happy, we lock everything in, confirming arrangements, bookings, and experiences with our trusted local partners.5. Full Payment and Booking Confirmation
A final invoice will be issued. Upon receipt of full payment, your booking is confirmed and reserved in full.6. Final Travel Documentation
Your comprehensive travel pack, including all final documents, contacts, and helpful tips, will be sent to you via email and post at least one month prior to departure. -
We work with a handpicked collection of luxury villas, boutique hotels, and stylish private apartments across Italy. Whether you're after a romantic stay for two, a villa for a family celebration, or something in between, we’ll match you with accommodation that reflects your taste, travel style, and budget.

Once you’re ready to move forward with your bespoke itinerary, a Travel Planning Fee can be paid via EFT. We’ll provide all the details to make this easy and secure. From there, we begin crafting your personalised Italian journey with care and precision.
When your final itinerary is complete and you’re happy to proceed, we’ll issue a formal invoice. Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Payments can be made via direct bank transfer or credit card. Please note, credit card payments incur a 2.2% processing fee. All terms will be clearly outlined upfront to ensure everything is simple, transparent, and stress-free from start to finish.

We don’t book international flights, but we’re happy to recommend the most convenient airports for your arrival and departure based on your itinerary, and provide guidance on the best flight routes and timing.
We do, however, arrange all internal travel within Italy as part of your personalised itinerary, including domestic flights, train travel, and private transfers. Whether you’re hopping from Rome to Sicily or travelling by high-speed rail through Tuscany, we’ll ensure every leg of your journey is seamless, comfortable, and perfectly timed.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival: 30% cancellation fee
Cancellation between 60–30 days prior to arrival: 75% cancellation fee
Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee
We recommend confirming your travel insurance policy includes cancellation protection for added peace-of-mind.

It’s never too early to start planning your Italian escape. As one of the world’s most sought-after destinations year-round, Italy rewards those who plan ahead, especially when it comes to securing your ideal accommodation and experiences during peak seasons.
Booking 6 to 12 months in advance ensures the best availability, greater flexibility, and a smoother, more enjoyable planning process. Plus, it gives you more time to dream, anticipate, and get excited about the journey ahead.

This depends on the complexity of your trip and how soon you’re looking to travel. On average, allow 2 – 4 weeks from your initial consultation to receive a fully confirmed itinerary. For last-minute or large-group travel, we’ll work as quickly as possible to meet your needs.
